Check out the link I have to the Heart of the City Festival at Wikipedia’s Downtown Eastside article, listed as website, above.
If interested you may like to put a link to that site as well. The site describes the area as a fairly interesting neighbourhood, not the way it is normally created in the media. I’m thinking it might help people feel more comfortable in the neighbourhood while attending the festival.
